Wishlist Wednesday #20

Wishlist Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Pen to Paperwhere we tell you about a book that is currently on our wishlist that we are excited for!

This week on Phil's Wishlist:

Natalya knows a secret.

A magical Faberge egg glows within the walls of Russia's Winter Palace.
It holds a power rooted in the land and stolen from the mystics.
A power that promises a life of love for her and Alexei Romanov.
Power, that, in the right hands, can save her way of life.
But it's not in the right hands.

So I wish listed another Pearce book maybe about a month ago, Coldspell, which is her newest release which is coming out September of this year. Tsarina, will be Pearce's 2014 release, and will be published under the pseudonym J Nelle Patrick on February 27 2014. Once I read the synopsis for this book, and then realized that it was a Pearce, I knew I had to get my hands on it. My Dad was a Soviet Studies major in college, so I know a little bit about Russia, seeing as when I was younger my Dad would travel there all the time. While I still don't know how I feel about this cover yet ( I love the colors and the girl and everything, but I think the authors name looks a little bit too Microsoft Words for me), I can not wait for this book to come out, and I will be pushing for an ARC of it until its release date :D

  1. I've never heard about the book before but it looks pretty good. I have the check it out. On the first glance it's not something I'd pick up in a store.

    Hope you get it soon!

  2. Hmmm, I wonder why she's writing under a different name? It sounds interesting, but I've had mixed reactions to Jackson Pearce's books. I'd love to hear what you think about this one once you read it!

    1. apparently she is using a different publishing company from her first one, and the first company owns the rights to her name or something, so she couldnt publish it under Jackson Pearce. Personally I dont like J nelle patrick, but I am sure the writing is exactly the same! I'll go check your out!
