Synopsis (Goodreads.com):
Aristotle is an angry teen with a brother in prison. Dante is a know-it-all who has an unusual way of looking at the world. When the two meet at the swimming pool, they seem to have nothing in common. But as the loners start spending time together, they discover that they share a special friendship—the kind that changes lives and lasts a lifetime. And it is through this friendship that Ari and Dante will learn the most important truths about themselves and the kind of people they want to be.

My Thoughts (Spoiler-Free):

First of all, the beautiful cover was what first drew me in! I mean, that type of font with the  blue in the background is all just so perfect! All I saw when I looked at this book was it's beautiful cover, and I didn't really pay attention to the synopsis. You could say that I went into this book not really knowing what to expect at all. I also didn't know anyone else who had read this book except my friend, Alyssa. All she told me was that it was going to be a sad one. And she was right.

From the very beginning we see the natural bond between Aristotle and Dante. They seem to easily be able to develop this friendship that no one else is able to understand except them. The characters are both easy to relate to and are both so honest and real. So real.

This book was beautifully written. Honestly. There were so many lines and quotes that I loved! And I can't even begin to tell you about all the different feelings that I would get at the turn of a page. And that ending? There were no words to describe how I felt after finishing the book, and reading that last sentence. Everything that I had read throughout the book hit me so hard that I just started crying.

While there was barely anything that I disliked about this book, I will say that the first few pages were pretty slow. But, after getting through those first few pages, I swear you won't be able to put the book down!

This book was a roller coaster ride, and I loved every minute of it. I loved the laughs and the tears...oh how you'll cry your eyes out. Everything in this book just tied together so well! As the events unfold, you'll be very surprised as to what happens between Aristotle and Dante.

A beautiful book that will leave you wanting more! 4.5 stars!
